We finally got Kory a new bicycle. He had been riding his tricycle around in the court and he just looked a bit too big for it :)
He had some left over birthday money so we made a trip to Walmart for a bike and a helmet.
Of course, he ended up with a Spiderman bike. And the helmet he picked out was Transformers.
Kory did a great job on his bike and took right to it - it does have training wheels on it.
At first he told me he was going to just watch his feet while he pedaled, but I had to remind him that he had to watch in front of him. Then he got a little distracted by some of the older boys in the court running around. But he got the hang of riding his bike.
Of course at the end, he took a tumble and scraped up the back of his knee. When he got up he said, "I'm never riding my bike again."
It took some snuggle time and some medicine on it for him to feel better. He then ended his day with, "Tomorrow will be a nice day to ride bikes."
