Kory's Bowling League

Here are some pictures from Kory bowling. I signed him up for a local bowling alley's Home School Bowling League. Two of his friends are also in the league, so the three of them get to bowl together each week.

The first week, we bowled two games. It took forever! Plus it wore Kory out. He told me that he didn't like bowling because it hurt him :) I imagine carrying that ball and rolling it would wear out his arms.

The second week the kids only bowled one game.

He likes to roll (or drop) the ball and then rest to watch it go (slowly) down the lane.

When we went for the second week, he got a ribbon for his First 50 Game. So that was cool.

No More Thinking Today...

I am not thinking any more today... :)

It has been a busy "thinking" week and a half. Between thinking through things on Keith's company- taxes, working with accountant, new software, reports, etc. Thinking through medical insurance- calling to verify what is and isn't covered for the baby. Thinking through a new program I found called Maternity Advantage that reviews hospital and lab bills to make sure billing is fair. Thinking through transferring funds from here, there, and everywhere. So I am done thinking for the day. No more official thinking. Instead, I think I'll do something fun... like iron Keith's shirts :)

p.s. just kidding about ironing shirts being fun! But it has to be done. Maybe I'll tackle the sock pile too while I'm at it.

This Ones for Keith ...

I was talking to Keith tonight about my recent blog postings. And he asked if I shared about him not getting the car today. So this post is for him :) Keith asked me this morning if he could drive "my" car (the Accord) to work today. I should have told him yes. Instead I told him I might need my car to make a bank deposit if a check came in the mail. Of course, the check didn't come today. So the car ended up sitting in the driveway all day long. And of course, Keith had figured the check wouldn't be in the mail today. So I owe him a car day. Sorry Keith... Maybe tomorrow... :)

Snuggle Time

Today was a nice reminder of why I enjoy staying home with Kory. It was a busy weekend. We were non-stop from Thursday through Sunday. Errands here. Errands there. Meeting friends for lunch. Meeting friends for bowling (Kory's in a bowling league). Friends over for football.

But today, it was just Kory and me. We didn't do much at all except for snuggle on the couch and catch up on cartoons... while laundry was being washed and dried of course. It was a nice day to just sit and enjoy him and his 3-year-old company.
