The bags and van are finally unpacked even though we have been home for a week :)
We spent Thanksgiving week with Keith's family in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
It was so wonderful, relaxing, and restful. We went in together on a beach house. Yes it was a bit chilly in November but was so nice. We didn't do much... unless you count numerous runs to Walmart and Food Lion with my "sidekick" (my sister in law) as activity :)
Kory and Cade loved being with their cousins. Kory played so hard! Of course the best was the little bruise under his eye that he brought home with him and his addiction to Sponge Bob Square Pants :)
It was also nice for the "big" kids to get out one night for a supper of seafood. So yummy!
But beyond all that. It was just nice to have another week with family.
And once again since we are home, I am reminded of how much we miss family nearby.
It was a great week! And as Kory said when we had to leave, "I want to stay at the beach house forever"
It's me and my boys... a wonderful husband and two very active boys. My days are filled with super heroes, sports, video games, and time in the sandbox.

Update on Cade
Today I took Cade in for a follow up eye doctor appointment. He has to have his left eye checked about every 6 months right now. The issue is watching for increased pressure because of the port wine stain around his eye area.
The eye doctor said his eye looks good. We'll be back in 6 months for another eye check up. And when Cade starts his laser treatment and goes under for treatment around his eye, we'll make arrangements for the eye doctor to come in at that time to do a more thorough check of his eye pressure.
As far as the laser treatments, we start those on January 5th. We have to go down to CHOP in Philadelphia for the treatments. Cade will get a topical cream put on about an hour before our appointment.
