Refund!

In only the first or second time in the past 10 years, we actually got a federal tax refund!

I thought I'd share how we are going to spend our tax return...

Well, first we have to pay in for state taxes.

Then we have to pay in for local taxes.

Then we have to pay the accountant for his work on our taxes.

So after all of that... our refund total is... get ready for this $1.89.

How will we spend it all?

I Miss You, Mommy

The last couple of days Kory will come over to me, hug me, and say, "I miss you, mommy." I kept on saying, "Kory we are together all day long. How can you miss me?"

Today, I think I understood what he was trying to tell me. Usually, we try to get out every couple of days. Whether it is to Target, Walmart, Grocery Store, Pet Store, etc. And if it is nice, we'd head to the back yard.

But the last few days, I haven't had much energy and have just laying around the house. So I think he really meant was, "Mommy, I miss the energetic you that takes me places and does things with me." So he does miss the mommy he is used to.

Hopefully we will be back to normal soon :)

Kory's Weekly Sayings

Kory has had me laughing this week at his little sayings.

He has had a cold. The other day he said, "I've tried everything and nothing is working. I'll never get better."

He and his friend, Bradley, got into chalk last night. They drew on their faces and came into the kitchen saying, "We are color man." Of course we couldn't stop laughing even when we realized the chalk was covering parts of the wall and some toys.

He was also using a net to get rocks out of a friend's fish tank. He said, "Mommy i pick you a rock. They are beautiful."
