Cade

I don't think I've posted on Cade for a while. Cade continues to grow and grow and grow. It will be interesting in November to see how much he has grown.

He is looking close to crawling. He is getting up on his knees and even starting to scoot backwards.

And then he tries to sit up. When he does, though, he tips over. But he is getting closer.

He is also teething on his top teeth.

Kory

As you know, Kory has been fighting me on some things. Some days go great. Others can be rough.

It has gotten much better since Kory has decided he wants to sleep in the guest room. He and I talked and I think Cade was waking him up throughout the night. So Kory seems to be sleeping better.

Anyway, today we went to a place called Monkey Joe's. And Kory did something today that made me very proud and realize that as much as he fights me on things, he is learning how to act the right way.

He was getting into one of the bouncy thing. And a little girl was coming up behind him to also walk into it. Kory waited for her and held up the mesh gate for her to get in. I saw her mom watching. The mom raised her hand to her heart and went "Ohhhh."

She later told me, he is going to be a heartbreaker.

So it was a nice reminder that yes, he is learning how to be a very active and polite little boy.

Kory-isms

Here are some funny things Kory has said recently..

At night, he gets to have something to drink. Typically it is water, but lately we've been limiting it so we don't have bathroom issues. He has now asked for milk because

"Milk doesn't make me pee."

-----

The other day I caught him counting off on his hand

"Today I said these bad words...stupid, shut up, pee, poopy."

-----

Kory and I made a chocolate cake the other day. He told me

"This is going to be the best cake ever!"

Of course, I had him wash his hands before we stared baking. He walked out of the bathroom and then wiped his hands in his hair. So I sent him back in to wash his hands.
