Random Things from the week

Just a few random things from our house this past week...

-Kory was excited when we took down the pool for the winter and his big sand platform (his beach) was back. He said to Keith "the beach is back in business."

-On Sunday, Keith has been in the basement for a few minutes and turned on football on the downstairs tv. Well it was left on and when Kory went downstairs later he said, "well I know who left the TV on downstairs."

-Kory also has swimming lessons for a 1/2 hour each week. Yesterday, they swam back and forth from shallow end to deep end, would jump in on the deep end, swim to the ladder in the deep end and repeat. They ended up swimming back and forth from shallow to deep ends a couple times. He wears a floatie device and they also swim with these cool floatie dumb-bell looking things.

After lessons he was WORE out and HUNGRY! We went through McDonalds. At home, Cade ate his french fries but didn't want his cheeseburger so I went to put it back in his bag. Of course, Kory, who already ate his cheeseburger, said "can I have it." So I gave him Cade's cheeseburger. Of course when Cade woke up from his nap, he went to his McDonald's bag searching for his cheeseburger and was not happy with his brother. Guess I'll have to get more food from McDonald's next time!

-Kory also learned that the middle finger is mean (from his friend). Thankfully she didn't explain why. Although it did cause a comical situation the next day where his friend said "well I wouldn't allow that in my house." To which I politely reminded her that she told him about it.

Cade has been battling a bit of a cold this week so it has been a quiet week with him. But he is becoming more vocal with his brother. Never a dull moment here with the two of them. They ended up taking a bath together last night for the first time. It was quite comical and they both had a lot of fun.

Who Are You?

I originally started this blog a few years ago and only shared the link with family. It was an easy way to post about life or events or such without having to send ten million emails. Although I still do end up sending the emails occasionally because I don't know which family members regularly check this blog :)

Only recently have I started to "expand" and share my blog link with others. I come from a pretty private family so it was originally strange for me to write things about our life when I didn't know who was reading it. (My sister can laugh now because she would say the same thing!).

Anyway- my question today is who are you and why do you follow me? I'm just interested to know who is reading this lovely blog of mine. :)
