We were prepared for a difficult appointment based on how he has been reacting at recent doctor’s appointments. We could definitely feel the prayers! Cade did very well with the treatment. As the doctor said, “He did great.” There was crying and kicking of legs but not the “breakdowns” that I had seen at his other doctors appointments over the past couple of weeks. One of my concerns was about how Cade would react when the doctor walked in with his white doctor coat on (which I can’t remember if I mentioned this to the nurse last week or not). Well the doctor came in without his white coat!
They did increase the intensity of the treatment once again and we are already seeing some bruising, which is to be expected. He calmed down very well after the treatment and is doing great this evening! He goes back on August 17 for his next treatment. At that time, the doctor said we may start to pinpoint different areas that aren’t responding as quickly as the others. Thanks again for all the prayers. We really appreciate them!
