Update on Holidays and Life

I feel like I have fallen a bit behind on updating on life and such here. So I'll try to summarize as best as possible :)

We had a wonderful Christmas. Again this year, we packed up the boys and all our gifts and headed to Keith's parents for Christmas. It was a house full of activity. Lots of laughs and special memories once again! Kory was so excited for Christmas. Cade was more interested in the wrapping paper. Kory and Cade bought me a babydoll. She will be a very special doll to me for years to come!

After our weekend at Keith's parents, we headed back to PA. My parents came out for almost a week. As in the style of my parents, the trip was planned about a week in advance with a "hey, can we come visit." We never like to turn away family and friends from visits. They actually were at the house when we got home. It was nice to come home to a house that had been cleaned by my parents :) Thanks mom and dad!

Then my brother and his wife came up for a few days too. It was so wonderful to see them! Although they live only 3 hours from us, our lives keep us all so busy that trying to find time to get together is almost impossible. But we are determined to plan a couple things over the next few months.

Our New Years was really low-key. But that was okay after a couple of crazy months of travel and holidays!

Cade continues to grow. He is now starting to lunge between furniture. He has two more teeth which brings it to a total of 8 teeth. We are already starting to see parts of his birthmark fading which is wonderful!

We signed Kory up for a preschool basketball league. He is very excited. And Keith is too. It will be their time together!

Me... I decided to slow down my life a bit and stepped back from a project I had been working on over the past couple of months. I really enjoyed the project but was falling behind on my personal things. And decided that it was more important to focus more on my boys. So it's back to full-time mom with a little side life of helping Keith with his company and also few other little things I have planned :)

Well I think that about brings life up to speed. Hopefully now I will be better at keeping this blog updated (right after I get caught up on the checkbook!!)
