Cade

Where have the soon-to-bed 6 months of Cade's life go... It is so much busier with two kids. But I am making sure I take those special snuggle moments with Cade.

Couple updates on Cade...

He is now sitting up on his own. It took a few tumbles to the side but he has gotten really good at it. He is also crawling all over. His favorite thing to crawl to right now is the audio receiver under the tv. I think he has actually turned off the sound a couple times.

Kory likes to chase him around with "No Cade. Not there Cade. Back to your toys Cade." He tries to be a big helper and pick him up. Although he has to work on putting him down. He has "dropped" him a couple times. And in dropped, I mean he was laying him down and decided to let him go. No real damage done.

Kory was a bit distraught on Sunday though. On Wed. mornings, the two boys are in the same "classroom" while I am at Bible Study. On Sunday morning, I decided to put Cade in the nursery. When I mentioned this on the drive to church, Kory broke down in tears. He wanted to be in the same classroom as Cade. He couldn't understand why they wouldn't be together. Even though Kory has been going to his classroom and Cade sitting with us in the past. Guess he likes to look out for his little brother.

Cade also has two more teeth in. In all honesty, his teething gave me a bit of a scare leading to a few panicy moments last week. He is getting one front tooth and a side tooth on his upper gums instead of the two front teeth. I was concerned that maybe the spacing was off because of his port wine stain. Leave it to Web MD and Google searches to lead me to a state of panic. Thank goodness, I tried to let it go (and thanks to my mom for talking me through it.).

Of course, I watched his teeth for awhile and saw that it was indeed one big tooth and one side tooth. And now I see the other front tooth starting to edge its way to the gum line. Oh the joys of teething. I hope I get a full night sleep at some point!
