Grandma Larson's trip to PA.

My mom was so wonderful to come stay with us leading up to Cade's arrival. I asked her to write a little summary of her time out here. As far as me... I enjoyed spending the extra time with my mom and creating more memories :) I'm so thankful my dad was willing to share her for a few weeks. Thanks!

From Grandma:

I flew out early in anticipation that baby Cade was going to possibly arrive early. Because he decided to wait 3 weeks, Kory got almost Grandma's full attention. I loved helping Jessica clean her flowers beds, got into some poison ivy, clean her house, did laundry, cooked some meals. Spending time with Kory was great. I learned a lot about super hero's. We played outside on his swing set, went shopping (walk Jessica, walk). Kory and I put together a wooden model airplane and then he painted it. He painted some magnets to go on his new refrigerator. We found a web site National Geographic for kids. It was great with games to play but Kory had to do at least one teaching video first. I felt bad that I couldn't stay longer to just hold baby Cade after he was born. But Grandpa was very lonesome for Grandma and wanted her back home so he drove straight out to spend a couple days with the Whitmore's and to love up on baby Cade. I was very thankful that I had my 3 weeks in PA and even as a bonus got to see spring with all the blooming trees and flowers and pollen.
