We just got back this past week from our annual trip to Minnesota! We had a great time with my family. Kory got to go hunting with Keith- although Kory's hunt didn't last too long. No deer for Keith this year :( But we do have some pheasants for Thanksgiving!
The hardest thing was... well actually two hard parts. One was the 20 plus hour drive to Minnesota. The drive out we went straight through. I slept while Keith drove and Keith slept while I drove. And the boys slept and sat. The trip back we stopped in Indiana over night. We have to work with Cade on traveling though. He was not a happy traveler at all. That made for a long drive.
The other hard part was saying goodbye to my family. I always realize how much I miss Minnesota and my family when we leave. It's hard to believe I haven't lived at "home" since 1995! Isn't that crazy. And the longer I have been gone, the more I realize how much I miss Minnesota.
Anyway. It was a great time of relaxing, resting, and being with family!
