The Price of Independence

We try to encourage Kory to be independent.

And he typically does a good job. Like getting himself a piece of pizza. He took the box off the counter, put it on the floor, took out a piece of pizza, went to grab a paper towel, and was ready to move his chair in the kitchen to put his pizza in the microwave :)

But the other day, the quest for independence cost me...

I lost a whole new bottle of Kory's bubble bath that we just bought. He went up to start his bath tub. I told him I would be up in a few minutes. He was supposed to get undressed. Instead, I found the bottom of the bathtub covered in pink "slime" and the entire bottle of new bubble bath EMPTY!

I also lost a bunch of dish soap. He was playing in the sink with water. And decided to refill his water and soap. When I went over to check on him. There was a blue "haze" to the water, and I found that a large amount of my dish soap was missing from the bottle.
